what’s up with me?

My interest in pottery sparked in high school when I took my first ceramics class. The fascination stuck with me throughout graduation, and I started paying for classes at my community college ceramics studio in 2023. While going to school and work, I built an inventory and fulfilled commissions.

Pottery has taught me a lot about life and has given me a lot of hope. There are so many lessons about patience, determination, and community in the studio that translates into my everyday life. A lot of the ceramicist that are enrolled in the studio come back every semester, even if the class doesn’t have something to do with their degree — everyone is there for the art!

Some of my favorite moments in the studio include when I ask someone about their piece and they are super excited to talk about it, or when I look around and see everyone passionately working.

I hope to grow my brand and continue to do what makes me happy. Thank you to those that are making it possible!
